Melvin Dave P. Vivas is a technopreneur specializing in business IT solutions consulting and technology marketing. He founded Melvin Dave IT Consulting & Marketing Services to assist companies in finding the right technologies to solve their business problems. Marketing technology is also one of his expertise. He finds and creates markets for technology. He is helping several technology companies market their products.

Using his vast experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Vivas invented a product called the Lemongreen SMS appliance which won an award from APEC. The Lemongreen SMS appliance enables companies and system integrators enable their software to send and receive SMS without even having an Internet connection. The solution is perceived to be beneficial for SMEs.

He founded the largest online and offline Java Developers community in the Philippines. He is frequently invited in several large IT events as guest speaker.
