Too many blogs, discovering Yahoo! Pipes

Most IT professionals nowadays have the problem of maintaining so many blogs. Yes, including me! I think I have at most 5 blogs. I have blogs in multiply, blogspot, wordpress, and devpinoy. Maintaining content and liking to all my blogs was a pain.

When there's pain, there should be some solution out there so I searched for a tool to mashup or aggregate all content from all of my blogs. I saw some tools like bloglines and readers from My Yahoo and Google's ig. But, those were not the tools I was looking for. Those tools just mashup content for personal reading. What I wanted was a tool which will aggregate my RSS feeds and enable me to display it in my new blog. In a way, it solves the problem of migrating all content to the new one.

After some time searching, I found Yahoo! Pipes. Taking the description from the Pipes website,
"Pipes is a powerful composition tool to aggregate, manipulate, and mashup content from around the web." Finally, I found a tool for my needs.

The nice thing about Yahoo! Pipes is that enables you to manipulate your content in a Graphical User Interface(GUI). This makes it easy for ordinary users. So, you don't really need to be technical to use pipes. Here's a link to the "Learn How to Build a Pipe in Just a Few Minutes video" on how to use Yahoo! Pipes.

Check out the Yahoo! Pipes website for more cool stuff!
