Global IT Policy and Technology Seoul Conference 2008

The first ever Global I.T. Policy and Technology Seoul Conference held at Seoul, Korea we a huge success!

It was a privilege to represent our country in the event. Speakers were from different countries worldwide. I am honored to be there as the Philippine delegate for the private sector.

Besides speaking in the ASEAN Regional Workshop, I learned a lot from the event as well since delegates from different countries gave a background of what they are doing with respect to Information and Communications development.

I am back in the Philippines to apply what we learned from the conference and we are hoping that they learned from us as well.

The Global IT Policy and Technology Seoul Conference is made possible by Seoul National University International IT Policy Program, Korea Ministry of Knowledge Economy and Institute for Information Technology Advancement(Korea). It was held last Sept. 26, 2008 at the COEX conference center, Seoul, Korea.

Melvin Dave P. Vivas is Owner and Senior Consultant in Melvin Dave Consulting and Marketing specializing in IT consulting, business solutions, mobile services and technology products marketing. He is founder and Chairman of the Association of Filipino Java Developers(PinoyJUG), the largest community of Java Developers in the Philippines. He also invented the Lemongreen SMS appliance. He is also starting to work on iPhone applications development.
