My Talk@ITPP Seoul Conference 2008 (Sept 26. COEX)

I was invited to speak and come as a Philippine delegate for the private sector in the upcoming ITPP Seoul Conference 2008 (Sept 26. COEX). I am honored to represent the country in the event. My talk will be part of the "Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in e-Government: Opportunities and Challenges" ASEAN+Nepal regional workshop. The program is hosted by the International IT Policy Program of Seoul National University(SNU).

I will be talking about how to use SMS in business and government. I'd be presenting relevant statistics on SMS usage worldwide. I'll be giving existing applications of how SMS is used in the private and public sectors respectively.

I hope I'd be able to promote our beloved country well and of course learn from our Asian neighbors. I'll be flying to Seoul on the 24th to prepare for the event and see Korea as well.

Melvin Dave P. Vivas is Owner and Senior Consultant in Melvin Dave Consulting and Marketing specializing in IT consulting, business solutions, mobile services and technology products marketing. He is founder and Chairman of the Association of Filipino Java Developers(PinoyJUG), the largest community of Java Developers in the Philippines. He also invented the Lemongreen SMS appliance. He is also starting to work on iPhone applications development.
